Dr. Hery Djagat Purnomo is a senior faculty member in the Division of Gastroentero-Hepatology, Department of Internal Medicine at Universitas Diponegoro/Dr. Kariadi Hospital, Semarang. With decades of experience in clinical practice and education, he also holds leadership roles in key national professional bodies, including Chair of the Semarang chapters of the Indonesian Society of Gastroenterology (PGI), the Indonesian Society for Digestive Endoscopy (PEGI), and the Indonesian Liver Study Group (PPHI). His academic and organizational contributions make him a pillar in Indonesian gastroenterology.

Dr. dr. H. M. Begawan Bestari
SpPD-KGEH, M.Kes, FINASIM, FASGE

Dr. H. M. Begawan Bestari is a consultant gastroenterologist and interventional endoscopist at Hasan Sadikin General Hospital and a faculty member of Universitas Padjadjaran. Trained internationally in Germany and actively engaged with global associations such as ASGE and ACG, he has brought international standards to Indonesian gastroenterology. As an educator and researcher, he has contributed to the advancement of endoscopic procedures and digestive disease management in Indonesia.

Dr. Fardah Akil MD, PhD

Dr. Fardah Akil is a Senior Lecturer in the Division of Gastroenterology-Hepatology, Department of Internal Medicine at Hasanuddin University, Makassar, Indonesia. She is also a certified consultant in gastroenterology-hepatology and gastrointestinal endoscopy, as well as a national trainer for emergency internal medicine (EIMED). Her expertise spans across liver disease, gastrointestinal infection, and digestive endoscopy.

With over two decades of clinical and academic experience, Dr. Akil has held several leadership roles including Head of the Gastroenterology-Hepatology Division (2013–2020) and Chair of the Makassar branch of PPHI (InsASL-ISG-ISGE). She currently serves as an expert advisor to the Directorate General of Prevention and Control of the Ministry of Health, Republic of Indonesia, contributing to national strategy and treatment programs for viral hepatitis.

Her prolific academic output includes more than 20 peer-reviewed publications indexed in PubMed, PLoS ONE, and Acta Medica Indonesiana, addressing topics such as Helicobacter pylori surveillance, liver fibrosis, GERD, NAFLD, and IBD. She is also a regular invited speaker at national and international scientific meetings including APASL, IDDW, and the Liver Update Symposium. Her research collaborations span institutions across Asia and Europe.

Dr. dr. Triyanta Yuli Pramana, SpPD-KGEH, FINASIM

Dr. Triyanta Yuli Pramana is a consultant gastroenterologist based at Dr. Moewardi General Hospital in Surakarta, where he serves as Head of the Gastroenterology-Hepatology Division and the Department of Internal Medicine. With a strong background in public and hospital-based health services, he has been a driving force in advancing medical training and digestive disease care in Central Java. He is also an active member of various national medical societies, including PAPDI, PGI, and PEGI.
